May 25: Metal decorating press manufacturer Crabtree of Gateshead has doubled its workforce and opened a new assembly plant to meet growing demand for its machines from emerging markets.
Sales this year for the UK-based manufacturer are expected to be a record £22 million (US$31.4 million), 63 percent up on 2009, with almost all going to export.
