June 7: Packaging steel is versatile and strong, and to highlight its virtues Corus, which makes tinplate used for food and drinks cans, has this week been backing promotional events for recycling packaging steel in the UK.
As part of its Recycle Now Week, Corus illustrated just how versatile tinplate can be by showing off some novel swimwear outfits – a bikini and trunks made from crushed drinks cans that were worn by models for a photo shoot in Brighton beach. No pain, no gain, as they say.
