Reebok is marketing its Playdry sports wear in India using metal packaging designed and made by Hindustan Tin Works Ltd (HTWL).
Atit Bhatia, vice president of HTWL in New Delhi, one of India’s leading canmaking firms, says that it’s a sign that with plastics packaging coming under increasing pressure from environmentalists, “tinplate is getting a massive make over and becoming a favourite in industry and with consumers”.
