December 7: Pilsner Urquell lager is being relaunched with new can graphics and secondary packaging following a study into the brand’s qualities by London-based agency Lewis Moberly.

Brewer SABMiller – the world’s second largest after Anheuser-Busch InBev – appointed the agency in 2008 as part of a global re-positioning of the brand, which originates from the Czech Republic.

Steve Arkley, international marketing manager for Pilsner Urquell at SABMiller said, “Secondary packaging will launch first and cans later. We are very happy with the re-design, and the research results are excellent. Lewis Moberly has answered our brief perfectly.”
