November 11: The Silver Crane Company, a UK-based supplier of decorative tins, won the Metal Packaging category in last week’s UK Packaging Awards, for its car-shaped tins.
Manufactured in China, the car-shaped tins supplied to retailer Marks & Spencer are decorated and embossed and have a plug lid, and are detailed by hand. The Retro Green Car Tin just pipped the Retro Red Car Tin at the post because there could be only one winner, said the judges.
