March 28: Brand owners will soon be able to see their designs on Rexam’s Fusion bottle, following the successful installation of a necking machine in its UK-based pilot production line.
The necker is key to producing a range of shapes for the 33cl aluminium bottle, which was launched last November at the Brau Beviale show in Germany.
The pilot line is located at Rexam’s Research and Development Centre at Tongwell, and is due to produce short runs of branded bottles for customers.
