October 8: Manufacturers in the canmaking industry continue to face further dramatic increases in tinplate prices, a subject that will be high on the agenda at the 9th International Tinplate Conference being held at the end of October in Turkey.
According to the organisers, higher raw material prices, alternative packaging materials and new sustainability drivers are all affecting the tinplate and steel packaging industry. The conference will not only address the business-critical issues facing the industry today, but will also give an opportunity to listen to those involved in driving the growth of tinplate in new and existing markets.
