Sales at Novelis, the world’s leader in aluminium canstock, were up 21 percent in the third quarter of its 2011 financial year, reaching US$2.6 billion. Shipments of rolled products for the Atlanta-based firm were also up, by ten percent to 715,000 tonnes compared with the same period in the previous year.
