October 23: King Don Juan Carlos of Spain yesterday opened officially a new Heineken brewery in Seville.
The 260-million-euro brewery, called ‘Jumbo’ because of its size is said to be the most modern and technically advanced in Europe. It is located seven kilometres from Heineken’s old brewery at La Cruz del Campo in the centre of Seville.
