Sales at world leading aluminium canstock manufacturer Novelis for the year ending in March were 22 percent up on the previous year, reaching US$10.58 billion, while net profits reached $160m.
It means that sales at the Atlanta-based company are above the $10.18bn figure for 2009 at the beginning of the global financial crisis. Sales in the final quarter were $2.96bn, also up 22 percent, with a net profit of $63m.
