March 30: Almost 10,000 drinks cans were used in an attempt to create the world’s largest can sculpture and promote the launch of a new recycling scheme in the UK. ReCan is a subsidiary of canmaker Ball Packaging Europe (BPE), which has recycling operations in Germany and Serbia.
