The US carbonated soft drinks (CSD) market decline is slowing, according to the latest figures from industry analyst Beverage Digest.
As Coca-Cola increased its market share at the expense of PepsiCo, 9.36 billion cases of CSDs were shipped, 0.5 percent down on 2009. But that decline was slower than in the previous year when it was down 2.1 percent. The US CSD market volume is back to slightly more than where it was in 1996.
