January 14: Japan’s Kirin Brewery is planning to launch a canned soft drink that tastes like beer.
It thinks the Free brand will the world’s first drink of its type: a beer-flavoured drink with no alcohol. Existing beer-flavoured products have an alcohol content of between 0.1 and 0.5 percent.
