Drink cans with tabs that stay on the lid after opening are an accepted part of modern culture. They’ve been with us for 35 years, and today the canmaking plant where they were first developed celebrates its opening four decades ago.
At the factory in Bristol, Virginia, USA, more than 500 employees, former employees, family members and friends will be gathering to mark the event.
