Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam inaugurates sixth canning plant

Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam (SPVB) has inaugurated its Tay Ninh drinks filling plant in Vietnam.

The USD300 million facility is the company’s sixth in the country and a reflection of its long-term commitment to Vietnam, it said in a social media post.

SPVB produces canned products including PepsiCo, 7Up, Tropicana, and Boss coffee. It also produces bottled water and soft drinks.

“This marks an important step in SPVB’s growth journey and reinforces our vision of building a future-ready manufacturing hub that is designed for long-term resilience, efficiency, and sustainable growth,” the company added.

The facility includes integrated automation, digital technologies, and end-to-end manufacturing systems throughout the production process, from raw material handling to warehousing and logistics, including the first fully automated warehouse within SPVB and the region, according to the company.

Sustainability has been key to the facility’s development and operation, and includes LEED Gold-aligned design, 100% biomass-generated steam for production, on-site solar energy, water reuse and treatment systems, zero waste to landfill, and more than 20% of the site is dedicated to green landscaping.
