Improved beverage print quality and flexibility of use were the reasons behind Thai Beverage Can’s decision to have a letterpress plate-making system installed by Swiss company Lüscher.
The Thai-based canmaker produces two-piece aluminium cans for beer and beverages for its domestic market as well as other markets in the region. It operates two canmaking lines, which run at up to 1,650 cans a minute with capacity of 1.2 billion cans a year, and two end-making lines.
