The canned foods that helped tsunami victims

As Japan prepares to mark the anniversary of the devastating earthquake and tsunami of 11 March 2011 stories have emerged of how volunteers helped communities rebuild their lives.

One such story shows how canned foods discovered after the Great East Earthquake and Tsunami enabled survivors to eat nutritious meals that would otherwise have been out of reach.
