December 20: The joint venture between Hong Kong’s Zhongshan Zhongyue Tinplate and South Korea’s Posco begins operations in China this month.
Called Zhongyue Posco (Qinhuangdao) Tinplate Industrial, the 66:34 joint venture is based at Qinhuangdao, in northern Hebei province.
