February 23: Slovakia’s first tinplate service centre with a processing capacity of 25,000 tonnes a year is being planned by the Swiss-based Padovani Group, Europe’s leading specialist in the business.
A site has already been acquired by Padovani at the Industrial Park Kechnec from which it expects sales of more than €20 million during the first year and double that in 2008.
