Tough two years for Red Bull

November 24: Red Bull, an icon in the canned drinks world, risks losing the ‘cool’ factor that has made it such a success, according to BevNet, the influential web site that reviews new products in the soft drinks world.
Commenting on the Red Bull phenomenon as competitors catch up and in response it launches a larger 12-oz size in the US, BevNet says that the energy drink faces a tough two years. It has grown at a dramatic rate but has oversaturated the market and remained unchanged while competitors have added different flavours. And its domination has led to many calling for its demise, says BevNet.
