Tsingtao, the Chinese brewer that’s the world’s fifth largest, is to build its first overseas brewery as part of a plan to globalise the brand.

The $100 million plant to be built near Bangkok in Thailand will start operating in 2013 and will have annual production of 200,000 litres.
