A quick-change production line for general line and food can ends, said to be the first of its kind in the world, has been launched by Turkish equipment manufacturer Bati Makina.
The production line offers automatic tooling changeover, enabling the operator to switch between up to five end designs, including can bottoms. The changeover is performed within around two seconds, with the curler tooling also automatically adjusting, if required by the end-design change.
