UK-based GEW recently supplied UV curing equipment to Crown Speciality Packaging for installation on a four-colour printing and varnishing line supplied by Crabtree.

GEW supplied a ten-lamp NuvaPlus system. This configuration included a lamp after each of the first three stations, two lamps in a set stack position after the fourth station, and four lamps at the end of the press to cure the varnish prior to the sheets entering the stacking unit.
