May 11: As part of a 170 million Rand (US$22.6 million) investment in helping the FIFA Soccer World Cup to be a success, South African Breweries will be livening up bars and taverns with Castle Lager branding, supporting the national team and launching innovative World Cup packaging.

For the first time, beer cans with full-aperture easy open ends will be used in a move to improve safety at soccer matches.
