Drinks canners are said to be already applauding an X-ray system for checking the seams of cans for tightness that made its world debut at Metpack in Germany this week.
Shown along with a novel technique for measuring easy-open end scores (pictured), the patented X-ray technology developed by Berlin-based CMC-Kuhnke enables the complete measurement of a can seam without the less-safe destructive process of cutting into cans.
