China’s two-piece beverage canmaking industry is expected to grow faster this year, the Year of the Dragon, than at any time in its history, a study into the market has highlighted.

According to research by The Canmaker magazine, 16 two-piece beverage can plants or production line extensions are to be commissioned in 2012, representing a 50 percent increase in capacity and investment totalling more than US$1 billion.
